The Progress of the Portrait of My Dad
I did the hair show, and now my hair is like a dark cherry wood colour.
More recently I had a dream that William Burroughs came over and showed me his paintings.
I had a dream. Me. A dream!! I dreampt my cat ran away and I ran through the tick-ridden wilderness to find it. But I couldn't. Then I was woken up in bed with Kris by my ex-coworker, Therese. Her hair was grey and she looked really old. She came right into our bedroom and began telling me she wasn't mad at me. She obviously wanted to kill me. I noticed some guy was getting interigated by the cops on TV while some girl gave him a blowjob. Then Therese decided she had better leave and announced that she just came over to recommend this great restaurant to me. I was worried about how Therese had gotten inside. How did she get by the chain and the deadbolt? As I walked her to the door wearing only a blanket, I noticed that our spare bedroom had been redone with silver and green plastic computer looking things. Therese said purple goes much better with silver. We went back to the bedroom to ask Kris what happened to the spare bedroom. She said "I did it," and "aren't you proud of me?" Then the three of us couldn't help but look at the TV. It was two not-so-attractive men having sex. I decided at this point that we were watching Crash. When they were done, one man with a moustache massaged the other man's skull and said "Please let me be your lover. I can do things in bed that you can't....Being gay has brought me such wonderful confusion."
Okay that was weird huh? Now onto reality: Kris is doing another hair show. They cut her hair and teach new techniques to new hairdressers. She mentioned she had a boyfriend and now they're out to get me!!
"Metaphor and Narcosis" was Jeanne Randolphe's lecture on how art should evoke guilt or sado-masochistic feelings through free association or pre-verbal memories. It was also about Jeanne's adament disagreement with Freud's statement that art is a mild narcotic. Anyhoo, life is porn is art is fame is here.
